The aim of the game is simply getting the most kills, or 'Frags', in typical death match style. There are lots of levels to play, and tons of powerups and weapons to pick up along the way. There are 'Robot Masters' from Mega Man 1 to 6, so there's sure to be characters you know in Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch.
Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch is strictly for fans of the series and those who like old school FPS gameplay. It's neither subtle or gory like many of today's shooters, and the graphics might be a turn off to anybody who didn't grow up in the early days of video games.
As a remedy for testosterone-filled macho multiplayer games like Medal of Honor, Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch is fantastic. Fans will love it, and it's easy enough to play that you don't need to be an expert to pick it up.
